Restaurants and Local Attractions:Go There!
Williamsburg is not just a great place to bowl...We have put together a list of
places dine and a few sites you may want to take in while you are here.

General Tournament Info:

• We Will Announce The Team Captain's Bowling Association And Use It On Prize Lists And Forms.

• Occasionally, We Will Have Squads With 6 Bowlers On A Pair Of Lanes For Doubles/Singles.
  These Squads Should Be Able To Complete 6 Games In 3 Hours (Only One Lane Courtesy Please).

• Make Sure Your Average Is Correct. Use The 2007-2008 Book Average If You Have One, If Not, Use
  Your Current Average - 21 Games Or More. The 10-Pin Rule Does Apply. We Accept Summer League
  Averages or 21 Or More Games.

• We Have 2 Divisions In The All-Events Category: Scratch And Handicap. You Can Be In Both, But
  You Must Pay For Both.

• We Have People To Assist You And To Take Care Of Any Problems Which May Occur With The
  Scoring System While You Are Bowling. Please DO NOT Eat, Drink Or Smoke In The Bowlers Area.

• Team Captains Are Requested To Record Scores After Completion Of Each Game On The Recap Sheets Provided. White Copy Goes On The Tournament Office. You May Keep The Rest.

• Please Note That Any Side Events During The Tournament Will Be Handled In Such A Manner
  As To Not Interfere With Anyone Bowling. Counter Personnel Will Only Announce Winners. Only Bowlers Or Tournament Personnel May Run A Side Event.
  

• If Your Name Appears On The Prize List And You Have Not Received A Check,
  Consult With Your Team Captain. If They Do Not Have It, Email Or Call The Tournament
  Office And We Will Look Into It.

• If any bowler has won $600.00 or more in any handicap tournament within the last 12 months, it is their responsibility to report this to the tournament director, along with their scores and the averages they used.  Failure to do so may result in disqualification.

• We Have Drawings Each Weekend. Souvenir Pins, Towels, Cups, and T-Shirts
  Are Available For Purchase In The Tournament Office.

  Frequently Asked Questions(FAQs):

  Q: How do I make a reservation to get the times/dates that I want?
  A: Unfortunately, no reservations can be made. The only way to guarantee your
  times/dates is to send your entry form in with the appropriate entry fees.

  Q: What do I do if I need to replace a member of my team, or an average?
  A: These changes can be made when you check-in at the tournament. Do not worry
  about trying to make these changes ahead of time. Make sure to bring the substitute's
  book average and sanction card with you.

  Q: How do I figure out doubles partners according to the confirmation letter?
  A: Unfortunately, the format of the confirmation letter can be confusing. Each bowler
  is assigned a bowler number (the number to the left of the person's name). To the right of
  each person's name there will be another number. This is the bowler number of your partner.

  Q: Can I change the team line-up or the doubles pairs when I get to the tournament?
  A: Yes, you can. However, if you know ahead of time that you would like to change the
  line-up, please send us an e-mail and we can do it before you arrive.E-mail Us

  Q: What if I don't have my sanction card with me when I come to the tournament?
  A: You must have your sanction card in order to bowl. It is up to the bowler to provide
  proof of this before bowling.

  Q: When will I find out if I won any money in the tournament?
  A: Checks and prize lists will be mailed to team captains with in 30 days of the end of the
  tournament.

  RESTAURANTS
  While in Williamsburg we recommend the following restaurants for excellent food and a friendly atmosphere.
  The Cracker Barrel Restaurant (breakfast, lunch and dinner).
  The Sportsman Grille (lunch, dinner-closed Sunday)*full bar.
  Second Street Restaurant (lunch, dinner, ate night snacks)*full bar.
  The Polo Club (lunch, dinner, late night snacks)*full bar.
  Pizzeria Uno (lunch, dinner)*full bar.

  ATTRACTIONS
  Busch Gardens opens at the end of March (weekends only until June) through October.
  Water Country USA is open May through September. Historic Williamsburg is open all year long.
  Colonial Downs Racetrack is open and featuring many special events, as well as dining facilities.
  Don't forget the Williamsburg Outlet Mall, Prime Outlets and the Williamsburg Pottery for your
  shopping enjoyment.
